Quattrain is a training partnership. We specialise in media skills and creative leadership. All the partners are from the BBC, so we have a background in editorial excellence and senior management.
Here are some examples of our work.
As the training partner for the RIGtrain scheme, we provided key leadership, editorial & production skills for the Radio Independents Industry in the UK over an 18 month period. We designed and led master classes, training events and a business leader’s scheme, as well as a Training for Trainers programme to skill up the industry for years ahead.
Our work with Ravensbourne College involved setting up a successful mentoring scheme to embed a mentoring culture within the institution. By empowering post graduate students to mentor undergraduates, we ensured mentoring is at the heart of successful learning and a supportive working environment. The scheme has produced results in terms of skills development and academic outcomes. The scheme is now in its fourth year.
Quattrain managed the international media campaign for the Climate Health Commission. We developed key messages and a full international media campaign, partnering with Climate Nexus, changing the conversation around climate change. We coordinated an international release involving press conferences and briefings in over 8 international locations and time zones. We also offered interviewing and media skills training to commissioners involved. The campaign gained high profile media coverage across 22 countries.
Synergies Podcast series was commissioned by UCL Grand Challenges and UCL public policy. In this series of 5 podcasts, Quattrain produced 5 discussion based shows, where presenter Sue Nelson discussed the similarities and occassional pitfalls of different academic disciplines working together. In Liveable Cities psychologists worked with engineers, whilst in Wonders of the Cosmos humanities joined with physics to discover where the arts meets science.Listen to the podcast here
